Exciting News to Share + New Designs Weekly Wrap Up 128

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviewsThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey! Happy Sunday!

I’ve been pretty inconsistent lately with posts and when his one in particular is going live – but alas here we are. This week wasn’t as… bad as last week, but still pretty stressful. I’ve been having ongoing headaches since my car accident in August, and this week I had that was awful. I haven’t had a headache that bad in YEARS. I’m better now (still in pain) but at least I am able to function. ie: read.

In other news – remember I said last week I had some news?? Well… I quit my job! Resigned, actually. There are many contributing factors, most of which I don’t want to go into, but this is a great move for me and my family. And I can’t wait to be rid of that place!

Fantasy Update:

Last week, I won against Ellice, and her team Last Manning Standing. It was a pretty close game, I as predicted!

This week, I am up against Danielle, and her team Eli Man Penguin Boy. I think we are slated to tie right now – but we shall see. 😀

I am sorry to hear about your headaches, headaches are nasty and it sounds like you had a particularly bad one this week. Yay for quitting your job, it sounds like a good decision. Your instagram pictures look so pretty! Enjoy your new books and have a great week!

I’m sorry to hear about your car accident and headaches. I hope you would feel better soon. I feel like I should congratulate you on quitting your job. Sounds like you wouldn’t miss that place at all. I hope you’ll have more time to do things that you love now. Good luck!

I was on hiatus for a while, so I have no idea what are you talking about. What exactly did you win last week and what are you doing with Danielle this week?

    Your designs are gorgeous.

I really NEED those coasters in my house. Damn this poverty! I hope things work out for you not working, it feels good to leave a job that is not a good fit. I think so anyways, it opens the door to other opportunities. I can’t to get my copy of Gemina, I loved Illuminae. Happy reading (and listening)!

I’m soooo sorry you’re getting headaches!!! But that is AWESOME news about resigning from your job! Congratulations 🙂 Oh, and you won last week, too! I know you were sweatin’ that one so yay!!

I’ve heard of that Julie Cross book before, the publisher was pushing it somewhere and it sounded interesting. I’m really curious what you’ll think if you end up reading it.

Have a great week and I hope you feel better soon…

Sorry about the headaches :-/ I’ve had some terrible ones in my time, I know how completely miserable and incapacitating they can be. Not fun. Feel better <3

And congrats about quitting your job! (Is congrats the right thing to say?) If you weren't happy there though, it sounds like you made the right decision.

I considered requesting The Rains but wasn't sure if it'd be my kinda book or not, so I'll be interested to see your review!

    Have a great week 🙂
