weekly wrap up

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviewsThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

Hey hey! It’s been quite the week, yeah?

We got snow! Here in North Georgia, well anywhere in Georgia, if we get snow everything shuts down. I know the North East and Midwest roll their eyes at us, but after the last two storms we had, people PANIC.

I only read one 1/2, which is a slow week and i need to get my S together. How was your week?

Also, I am leaving this poll open for one more week!

YAY for snow! I guess that answers my question that I just asked you. LOL. I can’t believe how much we got. It’s crazy. And to think they weren’t going to close schools… *shudder* I need to read Talon some day, as well as Passenger. I hope they are both good listens for you!

I live in New eagle PA, Washington County-we got 16 inches of snow (one photo on my blog), I lived in Va. Beach for 2 yrs and everything shut down, I thought it was funny. I don’t find it funny anywhere that gets snow that they are not ready for. So when I was 22 I was ignorant and I apologize. I
no longer think that way, and hope all of you are safe and warm.
I want to read Passenger. I hope you have a great week.

I’m in North Alabama so I can identify with the whole everything shuts down if they so much as mention snow. Thankfully we didn’t get much and I haven’t had to leave the house which is good because I hate the cold. The cover for Passenger grabs me but I’m kind of scared of it because I know it’s a serious feels book. Have a great week!

I haven’t read much this week either–at least not what I had hoped to read. I have a friend who recently moved to Georgia and she said her kids are just loving the snow right now. 🙂 I hope you enjoy Passenger. It sounds like it will be good. I hope you have a great week!

The problem with all the snow stuff happening right now is that the states getting hit don’t have the equipment and stuff to deal with it. I’m in Michigan and even our grocery stores have massive tractor type snow plow equipment (like so big they take up both lanes of traffic if they have to drive down the road). If you don’t have that, then yeah you’re sunk! We’re actually having a very mild winter this year-we had 60 degree weather Christmas week, which is insane for this area! Last year my kids had 14 snow days and this year we’ve only had 1 so far (they’re pretty bummed about this lol). Have a great week and stay warm!
