weekly wrap up

Weekly Wrap Up is a weekly post in which I recap posts, showcase new books and highlight what’s to come! Also, I share a pic of the week and share discussion posts that caught my eye*. Stacking the Shelves is hosted by Tynga’s reviewsThe Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer.

This week has been really busy.

First, we are kid free! The kiddos went to Washington to stay with my mom for about 10 days before I fly up myself. I had a dentist appointment that didn’t go as well as I hoped; meaning I need a ton of work done. Today, (Saturday) is my first 5k race! We started training for it about 8 weeks ago but with all the issues with my knee, it’s been slow going. Here’s hoping things go well today! Wish me luck!

On the blog – I didn’t get much blog hopping done or commenting because things have been hectic. I’m trying to find a new system that doesn’t overwhelm me but no such luck yet.

I feel good AFTER, most of the time. I’ve had issues with my knee and shin splints so we didn’t think I was going to run it. But I did!!

I hope the 5K went well! And aww man, I’m really sorry about the dentist appointment. Will you have to pay a lot to get the work done?
I hope this week is better for you!

It did! We had a blast. There were so many people!

Yes, I’ll pay at least $2500. It just sucks because I take care of my teeth but I’m a grinder LOL so all my back teeth are pretty much broken.

This was our first race and there was definitely a high running with all those people.

Yes I miss the boys! They aren’t going as long this time as they did last year for that reason LOL

That is what is nice, we can just do what we want LOL It’s liberating but I do miss them.

And thank you! It was hard work, especially because of my knee but I’m so happy we did it! 🙂

Tonyalee, I have not had a lot of time to do much blog hopping the past couple weeks, I feel so bad! I meant to publish a Sunday post last week, but there was no time. I had to throw one together for this week and Ugh, I feel like a bad blogger right now!

First: What is up with going to the dentist these days and needing more work? It happens to me all the time!! And none of it is covered under my expensive dental insurance!!!!!! It’s a sham, I tell ya!!! 🙂

Second: I hope you did well on your 5K – heat works wonders on injuries, IMHO.

Third: I’ve been stalking Fear the Drowning for months now. I even asked the publisher at BEA when it would be up on Edelweiss!! It sounds great, right??

Hope you have a good week and the dentist is good to you!!!
