The girl with straight As, designer clothes and the perfect life-that's who people expect Rachel Young to be. So the private-school junior keeps secrets from her wealthy parents and overbearing brothers...and she's just added two more to the list. One involves racing strangers down dark country roads in her Mustang GT. The other? Seventeen-year-old Isaiah Walker-a guy she has no business even talking to. But when the foster kid with the tattoos and intense gray eyes comes to her rescue, she can't get him out of her mind.

Isaiah has secrets, too. About where he lives, and how he really feels about Rachel. The last thing he needs is to get tangled up with a rich girl who wants to slum it on the south side for kicks-no matter how angelic she might look.

But when their shared love of street racing puts both their lives in jeopardy, they have six weeks to come up with a way out. Six weeks to discover just how far they'll go to save each other

Katie, you amaze me.

I find it ironic that Crash Into You is now my favorite of the series. Why? You ask. Well, in Dare You To, I wanted to kick Isaiah in his baseballs almost as often as Ryan. I thought it was too pushy and extremely selfish when it came to Beth and their relationship. Yeah, I feel bad about that now because Isaiah is the sweetest bad boy you’ll ever meet.

It’s pretty redundant of me to say that I am getting slightly burnt out on all these NA and YA contemporary romances. But Katie’s writing is amazing. I am always blown away but how much I care for the characters. How much I am invested in their story. My heart races, I smile, I laugh and I get all teary eyed while biting my nails at the end. Add in the heart pounding action of street racing and a reunion of our favorites, makes for the best book ever.

I loved getting more in Isiah’s background and see things from his perspective. Like I said, I was really pissed at him in Dare You To and I understand a lot more about why he acted the way he did. I can’t image the pain and torment he went through. Not just his childhood (which is sad) but with Noah and Beth too. When he meets Rachel, he believes she is too good for him. He sticks his neck out for her to protect her, not really knowing her or her situation. He is so sweet and protective over her, it made my heart melt.

As for Rachel, gosh this girl had it rough. Basically living in the shadow of her dead sister, she is basically forced to be someone she isn’t to keep the rest of her family happy, physically suffering because of this. Her family was a piece of work, let me tell you. I can’t even.. I just can’t. Her escape is speed; racing her Mustang on the highway is the only place she feels herself. She is sweet, selfless and just an all around amazing girl. Their relationship is by far one of my favorites.

I really loved the storyline. They really got themselves into deep shit and while I was anxious it was the good kind of anxious. Having actually see this type of scene in real life, I thought Katie did a remarkable job with the reality of it. To me, nothing was really blown out of proportion and I have to admit, the racing scenes really brought back some nostalgia. The ending had me freaking out, though. Like scared freaking out. Everything was wrapped up nicely too afterwards and I am so anxious to see these two together more.

My Peeve- It’s a personal thing but I couldn’t stand her family. After everything that happen, before and in the end, I still don’t feel like they redeemed themselves. What her brothers did was just the icing on the cake and then the thing with her dad. I just.. I feel so BAD for Rachel.

Also, I am curious as to why one of the people who gets on my nerves the most in these books, has their own story coming next. Weird, right?

Overall- Love Love LOVED it. My favorite in the series. Isaiah has become one of my favorite book boyfriends (or will be when he’s 18) Best in the series, seriously. If you haven’t started this series yet, what are you waiting for?!

I can’t wait to find time in my reading schedule for this. I’m on the blog tour, but I desperately want to start it sooner than a few days before my tour stop date. I really want Isaiah to get his HEA, but I never once saw him with Beth. I am glad those two didn’t end up together. I am excited to meet Rachel- not so excited to meet this family you clearly have no love for. Anyways- great review friend! I’m going to have to squeeze this in if I can!

Yay!! I was waiting until after I read it to read people’s reviews of it and yes! I agree with everything!! I was upset with Isaiah in DYT but honestly I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. I can’t believe he’s only 17, with all the crap he’s had to deal with? And Rachel’s family — I totally agree. Wow. Just ugh. However, I’m totally intrigued to see what West’s story will be like! I love katie mcgarry so I’m sure it’s gonna be amazing! I kind of hoped it would be Abby becuase I loved that girl! And I seriously loved all these characters so much, katie is just too awesome. =)
